Roland has lived in Rempstone since 1996. He is a Trustee of the Village Hall and a keen musician. Roland chaired the Rempstone Support Group during the COVID crisis and was elected Chair of the Parish Council in May 2021.
Now retired he used to manage projects in commerce, industry and government, both in the UK and internationally. His current preoccupations are grandchildren, guitars, and gardening - not necessarily in that order.
Roland says “We came to Rempstone to raise our family in a village community. Now that the family has grown, and I have retired from commercial life, I have joined the Parish Council to contribute back to that community”.
